The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Site Flow and Bed Management team as a Bed Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical input into safe patient flow and placement, managing and interpreting data, and communicating with clinical and non-clinical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Close interaction and liaison with specialty clinical and operational teams to provide clinical input into safe patient flow and placement.
  • Manage and interpret data, and upload reports involving communication with a range of clinical and non-clinical personnel.
  • Work at pace within set guidelines in a busy environment.
  • Take responsibility for patient flow within a defined clinical area, such as the Acute Medical Receiving Unit.

Requirements: To be considered for this post, you will be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration, educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level, and have clinical expertise within the specialty/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge to lead safely, effectively, and efficiently.
