Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Service Manager to join our Clinical Management Team. As a key member of the team, you will support the Clinical Service Managers in the operational and performance management of the Service, including waiting times governance and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide performance management support to the Clinical Service Manager, ensuring services are delivered within budget and national and local targets are met.
  • Direct and manage the provision of administrative staff across the service.
  • Make recommendations to the service on service redesign and capacity planning for the service in line with NHS Lothians strategic and corporate objectives.

About the Role: As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Clinical Service Managers in the operational and performance management of the Service. You will work closely with the Clinical Management Team to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and effectively, and that national and local targets are met.
