Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Clinical Management Team, you will support the Clinical Service Manager and the Clinical Management Team in the operational and performance management of the service, including waiting times management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide performance management (financial, planning and business management) support to the Clinical Service Manager, ensuring services are delivered within budget and national and local targets are met.
  • Direct and manage the provision of administrative staff across the service.
  • Make recommendations to the service and provide guidance to staff on service redesign and capacity planning for the service in line with NHS Lothians planning and modernisation agenda.
