Working Hours and Flexibility

NHS Scotland is introducing a reduced working week of 37 hours, with no change in pay. This reduction will be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you will be paid.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Clinical Management Team in operational and performance management of the Service, including waiting times governance and management.
  2. Provide performance management support to the Clinical Service Manager, ensuring services are delivered within budget and national/local targets are met.
  3. Direct and manage the provision of administrative staff across the service.
  4. Make recommendations to the service and provide guidance to staff on service redesign and capacity planning in line with NHS Lothian's strategic and corporate objectives.
