Working Hours and Flexibility
NHS Scotland is introducing a reduced working week of 37 hours, with no change in pay. This reduction will be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you will be paid.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Clinical Management Team in operational and performance management of the Service, including waiting times governance and management.
- Provide performance management support to the Clinical Service Manager, ensuring services are delivered within budget and national/local targets are met.
- Direct and manage the provision of administrative staff across the service.
- Make recommendations to the service and provide guidance to staff on service redesign and capacity planning in line with NHS Lothian's strategic and corporate objectives.
