The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Site Flow and Bed Management team as a Bed Manager. The team provides support and input into all emergency and elective patient flow activity within North Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Close interaction and liaison with specialty clinical and operational teams in the provision of clinical input into safe patient flow and placement.
- Manage and interpret data, and upload reports involving communication with a range of clinical and non-clinical personnel.
- Work at pace within set guidelines in a busy environment.
- Take responsibility for patient flow within a defined clinical area, such as the Acute Medical Receiving Unit.
Requirements: To be considered for this post, you will be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration, educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level, and have clinical expertise within the specialty/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge to lead safely, effectively, and efficiently.
