About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to lead our community pharmacy services team in NHS Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of community pharmacy services in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve community pharmacy services, working closely with stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services to patients across Scotland.
  • Collaborate with senior management and clinical leaders to design and implement new clinical pathways and standards of care.
  • Quality assure service delivery and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and champion an ambitious strategy for community pharmacy services, driving innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • UK registered pharmacist with significant leadership experience and/or formal management qualification.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing pharmacy services in a community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy processes across community pharmacy, hospital, and primary care settings.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, organizing workload and allocating tasks as necessary.
