Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our team at The Pharmacist Network. This role is pivotal in enhancing patient care through effective medication management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medication reconciliations of patient records in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain and update patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in medication reviews and synchronize treatments for various patient groups, including those in care facilities.
  • Facilitate optimal medication use by adjusting prescriptions to align with approved guidelines.
  • Perform prescribing audits and respond to medication safety alerts to uphold the highest standards of patient safety.

As a Clinical Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients in maximizing the benefits of their medications. You will collaborate closely with clinical pharmacists to contribute to Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) and leverage your expertise in both acute and repeat prescribing processes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a clinical setting as a registered pharmacy technician.
  • A relevant qualification demonstrating registration as a pharmacy technician.
  • A strong commitment to patient care and safety.
