Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity awaits a seasoned Business Development/Sales Account Executive to become part of a thriving and reputable women's fashion enterprise. This company is known for its innovative approach and caters to a variety of trend-driven retailers in the fashion industry.

The ideal candidate will oversee a portfolio of prominent retail clients.

This role is hands-on, requiring an individual eager to embrace new challenges, equipped with a solid sales history in a comparable position.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development/Sales Account Executive

  • Collaborate with the design team to showcase new collections to both prospective and existing clients, utilizing the London-based showroom and client locations.
  • Process orders, negotiate pricing, and work closely with the merchandising team.
  • Manage a selection of established customer accounts, providing both private label and stock merchandise.
  • Ensure order fulfillment and maintain communication throughout the process.
  • While most accounts are already in place, there is ample opportunity for growth and development; building strong relationships with clients is essential.
  • Engage in branded sales for in-house labels on the wholesale side of the business.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including retail groups and independent boutiques.
  • Meet seasonal sales targets, collaborating with buyers, designers, and sales directors, and participate in trade exhibitions.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in sales within the fashion sector, particularly with similar clientele or fashion retail contacts.
  • Strong understanding of both private label and wholesale sales dynamics.
  • Experience in presenting collections in a showroom setting and at client headquarters.
  • A proactive individual who is ready to take initiative and engage fully in the role.
  • Confident and successful in sales, with the ability to approach both existing and potential clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of various product categories, including knitwear, wovens, and outerwear.
  • A genuine passion for and understanding of contemporary women's fashion is essential.
