Manager of Domestic Abuse Services
We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee a specialized housing support initiative aimed at male victims of domestic abuse. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a new pan-London service, focusing on providing essential support to male survivors. The role allows for a hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance required at least once a week and the option for remote work based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of tailored responses to meet the housing and immigration needs of male survivors across London, while building partnerships with relevant agencies.
- Effectively managing and nurturing a high-performing domestic abuse support team.
- Ensuring that the service prioritizes the safety, security, and dignity of all service users and their families.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong passion for supporting victims and a comprehensive understanding of domestic abuse and its effects.
- Knowledge of the challenges faced by individuals impacted by violence against women and girls, along with the ability to assess individual needs.
- A solid grasp of migration and asylum processes, including relevant international and UK laws.
- Experience collaborating with housing organizations or within housing contexts related to domestic abuse.
- A deep understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse and its effects on men, women, children, families, and communities.
- Proven experience in managing a team that delivers high-quality support to victims of domestic abuse or vulnerable populations.
- A non-judgmental, supportive, and inclusive approach to empowering survivors.
- Desirable language skills include proficiency in Sylheti/Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Turkish, Kurdish, Polish, Gujarati, Somali, Yoruba, Akan, French, Lingala, Igbo, or Arabic.
