Domestic Abuse Service Manager - Housing and Immigration Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Domestic Abuse Service Manager to lead our innovative housing support project specifically designed for male survivors of domestic abuse. This pan-London service will provide crucial assistance and guidance to men navigating the complexities of domestic violence, housing insecurity, and immigration challenges.

Your Role:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to address the unique needs of male survivors facing housing and immigration issues within London.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partner agencies across the city to ensure a coordinated and effective support network for our clients.
  • Provide expert guidance and advocacy to male survivors, empowering them to make informed decisions about their safety and well-being.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Champion the safety, security, and dignity of all service users and their families.
Your Qualifications:
  • A deep understanding of domestic abuse dynamics and its impact on individuals, particularly men.
  • Extensive knowledge of migration and asylum procedures in the UK, including international law and rights.
  • Proven experience working with housing agencies or within a housing setting to provide advice and support to victims of domestic abuse.
  • A commitment to empowering survivors through a non-judgmental, anti-discriminatory approach.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
