Newstaff Employment Services Ltd is seeking an IT Support Specialist for a 3 Month Fixed-Term Contract. This role involves providing essential support to users across various locations.

A valid UK driving license is mandatory. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position and have achieved GCSE level education. Ownership of a vehicle is required.

You will be responsible for delivering onsite assistance and direct support to users in multiple offices.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for users, documenting and addressing incidents through the ITSM platform.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to colleagues and users.
  • Conduct thorough investigations before escalating issues to the second line support team.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientations and providing basic IT training.
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers and vendors as necessary.

Required Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft client operating systems and applications.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory administration (users and computers).
  • Strong skills in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of Citrix Virtual Desktop administration.
  • Familiarity with Office 365, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
  • Basic understanding of LAN and WAN network structures.
  • Introductory knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with FreshService or other ITSM tools.
  • Familiarity with Wolters Kluwer - CCH Central / Audit Automation / Document Management.
  • Understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of mobile devices, including iPhones and Android.
  • Ability to log tickets in detail.

This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 (Pro-Rata) plus available overtime.
