Position Overview:
Are you seeking a rewarding and challenging opportunity as a Mobile Deputy General Manager (Clinical) with Barchester Healthcare? In this role, you will have the chance to travel across your designated area, supervising and nurturing the growth of teams in various care facilities to ensure the outstanding care and service that distinguishes us in the industry. Working in close partnership with the General Manager or hiring manager, you will be instrumental in executing action plans tailored to meet the varied needs of our residents.

In the absence of the General Manager, you will assume leadership responsibilities, engaging in numerous facets of care management, from upholding care standards to motivating and inspiring your team. Your position will involve leading a multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for each resident. This includes setting a positive example, conducting routine audits, overseeing clinical practices, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. By establishing and maintaining high benchmarks, you will leverage your expertise to develop and implement strategies that align with your goals.

Candidate Requirements:
To qualify for the role of Mobile Deputy General Manager (Clinical), you must possess a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) designation with current NMC registration, along with credentials in teaching, mentoring, or supervision. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential, as is a proven commitment to ongoing professional development. Competence in assisting residents with a range of healthcare needs is crucial, as well as a solid history of managing safeguarding inquiries and clinical risk assessments. We are also looking for candidates with HR knowledge, a strong grasp of sales and marketing principles, experience in budget oversight, and a background in guiding newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, resilient, and devoted to delivering exceptional care within our dynamic and vibrant environment.
