Job Title: SDA Deputy Chief Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid working with 3 days per week at MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SDA Deputy Chief Engineer to join our client's team in a large government customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and programme management expertise in the development of the SSN-AUKUS programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comparison and assessment of Australian/UK standards, legislation and safety policy.
  • Advising on UK engineering processes and facilitating the exchange of information between the SSNA and the ASA.
  • Management of the SSNA engineering SharePoint.
  • Experience in nuclear submarine acquisition programmes.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance Required
