About the Role
As Deputy Depot Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center during the night shift. Reporting directly to the Depot Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from overseeing staff performance to managing budgets and maintaining high safety standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to our dedicated team of warehouse operatives, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Analyze operational data and generate comprehensive reports that highlight key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Proactively identify potential risks and collaborate with the management team to develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Champion a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for all.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, upholding the highest ethical standards.
- Effectively manage budgets and forecasts, optimizing resource allocation to drive operational efficiency.
