We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Depot Manager to join our management team at Smiths News. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing one of our shift operations in the depot, reporting to the Depot Manager and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of newspapers and magazines to our retailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of staff, identifying training needs and providing coaching and guidance.
  • Provide accurate reports highlighting challenges and successes, working closely with the management team to identify potential risks.
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety at all times, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policy.
  • Work to an annual set budget and forecast, ensuring effective management of resources.
