Deputy Store Manager Job Description

About the Role
  • Set a positive example for the Store Team and customers, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.
  • Independently manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards.
  • Lead and inspire the team to achieve their full potential using our Leadership & Company Principles, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including deliveries and till area management, to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer queries, ensuring a positive shopping experience and building customer loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety laws, standards, and guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills to support colleagues and customers, with the ability to build strong relationships and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to support the team through every shift, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Pride in providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on delivering a positive shopping experience.
  • Ability to monitor, manage, and improve KPIs, driving business growth and improvement.
