Your Responsibilities:

As the Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Sovos, you will play a pivotal role in fostering product utilization, customer retention, and growth by cultivating robust customer relationships. In this capacity, you will formulate strategic account plans, conduct business reviews, and ensure overall customer satisfaction, leading to enduring customer partnerships.

Specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Acting as a proactive advocate within Sovos and on behalf of the customer
  • Overseeing a portfolio of key customer accounts
  • Building trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Proactively expanding connections within assigned customers
  • Assisting customers in measuring business value and driving product adoption
  • Nurturing accounts to mitigate attrition
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align initiatives with customer strategies
  • Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with customers
  • Keeping customers informed about new features and updates
  • Identifying adoption trends and offering recommendations
  • Conducting regular assessments of customer health
  • Recognizing renewal risks and collaborating for successful renewals
  • Gathering and communicating customer feedback for product enhancement

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or sales
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise-level accounts
  • General understanding of tax reporting and compliance (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities
  • Familiarity with CSM technologies such as Salesforce and Gainsight
  • Capability to manage multiple customer projects effectively
  • Experience supporting global clientele
