Job Overview

As part of the Human Resources (HR) Control Management division, you will spearhead a dynamic risk and control strategy that aligns with the overarching objectives of the HR Function and the organization.

In the role of Control Programs Manager - Associate within the HR Control Management Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the execution and accountability of Control Programs within HR, collaborating with essential stakeholders to align with HR Control Management and HR Products' goals.
  • Establishing a streamlined, effective, and organized framework for Control Management processes and programs that can be utilized by the HR Control Management Team across the HR organization; keeping Control Managers informed about any modifications to process Standards & Procedures.
  • Creating effective engagement strategies (such as Learning Sessions, Workshops, etc.) for the development and modification of control programs to optimize efforts and minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborating closely with firm-wide control teams to ensure compliance with control program and process standards. Assisting the business in executing Firm-wide Control Initiatives to maintain HR's adherence to established Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating tools used for managing control programs to meet minimum control standards.
  • Engaging with HR and control colleagues throughout the organization, including business, legal, compliance, risk, audit, and regulatory functions.
  • Developing and sustaining comprehensive reporting and analytics to track progress, communicate status to executives, and assess team effectiveness in achieving Control Management objectives.
  • Preparing impactful presentations and program updates for stakeholders and business partners, effectively communicating overall program advancements and recommendations.
  • Managing programs that encompass areas such as Compliance & Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE), Qualitative Operational Risk Assessment (QORA), and various other compliance and operational risk initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience in financial services focusing on controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance is preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate risk from diverse perspectives (Legal, Regulatory, Operational, Client & Reputational) and engage in meaningful business discussions.
  • Strong program management capabilities and project execution skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, change management, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt priorities swiftly.
  • Capacity to influence key stakeholders and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ability to identify and suggest opportunities for process enhancements and automation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PitchPro.
  • Able to thrive in a high-pressure environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in project management within complex organizations and control environments.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Products, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Experience with intelligent solution and automation tools.
