As a Technology Operational Risk Management Lead within the Governance, Risk and Controls (GRC) team of Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk Technology & Cybersecurity (CCCOR T&C), you will assess and identify deficiencies in control design and execution within the first line's GRC team. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating risk and controls frameworks, control integration and assessment, risk treatment and analytics, as well as governance and reporting practices. You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior management, and maintain credible relationships across technology and control organizations.

CCOR T&C operates within the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization, tasked with designing and overseeing the second line of defense independent risk management program for technology and cybersecurity risks. This involves leveraging the Operational Risk Framework, regulatory guidance, and applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate governance practices related to the development, adherence, and maintenance of technology policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assess Global Technology's framework to ensure alignment with sustainable industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and threat-informed risk and controls.
  • Challenge the implementation and execution of first line controls.
  • Identify thematic risks based on key risk indicators and performance metrics.
  • Prioritize and treat control findings for Global Technology, providing actionable reporting to support operational risk decisions.
  • Conduct monitoring and testing activities to identify operational risks throughout the technology lifecycle.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology risk management and governance of controls.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO, FFIEC, FSP, and Heightened Standards.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations related to technology and cybersecurity, including privacy and outsourcing.
  • Experience in providing independent reviews and challenges of first line technology and cybersecurity assessments and controls.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to effectively communicate and influence management at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously or with minimal guidance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience with modern technologies such as public and private cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, and CISSP are preferred.
