Position Overview

Pro1 Recruitment Ltd is looking for a dedicated Procurement Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting procurement operations and ensuring that purchasing activities are conducted efficiently. This position will be based in an office environment and will encompass the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source appropriate products and services from our established supplier network.
  • Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while adhering to internal protocols and meeting client specifications.
  • Assess and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Generate purchase orders utilizing our MRP systems.
  • Monitor the status of purchase orders to guarantee compliance with requested delivery schedules.
  • Engage in regular communication with suppliers to confirm adherence to delivery commitments.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through the implementation of a company scorecard system.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in procurement-related functions within a dynamic work environment.

Working Hours

Standard working hours are from 07:45 to 16:15, Monday to Friday.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience, ranging from £25,000 to £30,000.
