Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Partner to join our Seed fund team in London. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, building relationships with entrepreneurs and investors, and contributing to the growth and success of our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in key strategic projects, including representing the company at major events
  • Meet with entrepreneurs, business angels, funds, and ecosystem players to build close relationships and generate high-quality deal flow
  • Negotiate term sheets with entrepreneurs
  • Explore investment opportunities, including deep dives into operational metrics, market and competition analysis, and financial and valuation modeling
  • Manage a portfolio of startups and serve as a board member
  • Own relationships with founders and investors across your designated ecosystem and sector
  • Defend your position during weekly deal flow meetings and prepare investment notes for discussion in investment committees
  • Identify and detect high-potential market trends to build strong convictions for future investments
  • Contribute to fundraising processes alongside the sales team
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in deeptech and digital
  • Pre-seed and seed investments experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in VC, PE, and/or strategy consulting/M&A
  • Strong knowledge of the British market and tech ecosystem
  • Ability to build a sales machine and develop/nurture a strong and qualitative network
  • Passion for new technologies and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent analytical and strong quantitative skills
  • High energy, resourceful, and ambitious
  • Startup/scale-up operational or entrepreneurial experience
