Position Overview:
Avantor


is seeking a dedicated Customer Relationship Manager on a temporary basis to oversee a portfolio of global accounts within our clinical trials initiatives.


The Customer Relationship Manager will play a pivotal role in managing clinical budgets and associated pricing strategies to facilitate the execution of clinical trial agreements and ancillary services.


This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring attendance at our Chorley office for 2 days each week.

The ideal candidate will possess robust commercial acumen, exceptional communication abilities, and influential skills, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for the Clinical Trials sector.


The successful candidate will lead various projects, provide insights, and contribute innovative solutions to our Head of Customer Management and the broader team.

Team Dynamics:


The Customer Relationship Manager will be integrated into a larger team of 18 Customer Relations Managers, collaborating closely with clients to comprehend their study requirements and ensure the seamless delivery of products and services.

Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a Customer-Facing or Account Management role, ideally in a B2B context.
Prior experience managing large-scale customer projects and their operational demands.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership across various functions.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Key Responsibilities:

In a highly SLA-driven environment, you will manage all data and communications related to assigned clinical trial projects, establish milestones, and oversee deliverables across multiple international locations.

Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate customer activities, ensuring timely delivery of products and services.

Maintain Customer Relationships to ensure exceptional service delivery and foster repeat business.

Oversee Customer Contracts and Clinical Budgets to optimize potential and revenue.

Provide comprehensive and meaningful customer reporting.

Prepare quotations for existing clients.

Participate in Customer and Study calls as necessary.

Ensure alignment between customer needs and business objectives.

Address Customer Complaints and Escalations.

Enhance business opportunities by introducing new services or products.
