The Opportunity:
Avantor is seeking a seasoned Customer Relationship Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of international accounts within our clinical trials projects on an interim basis.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Chorley site, where you will work in the office 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical budget and related pricing strategy services for the purpose of executing clinical trial or ancillary services agreements.
- Manage large-scale customer projects and their operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to guarantee excellent service delivery and generate repeat business.
- Coordinate customer contracts and clinical budgets to maximize potential and revenue.
- Provide clear and meaningful customer reporting.
- Create quotations for existing customers.
- Attend customer and study calls as required.
- Ensure alignment of customer needs and business objectives.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalations.
- Identify opportunities to increase business by offering new services or products.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not essential.
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing or account management role, preferably business-to-business (B2B).
- Previous experience managing large-scale customer projects and their operational requirements.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work and collaborate with senior leadership across various functions.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Word.
