Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the Enid Blyton publishing initiative.

- Manage projects for young fiction series.

- Contribute innovative ideas during creative brainstorming sessions.

- Commission writers, refine manuscripts, and collaborate on illustration briefs, ensuring quality in illustrations and layouts.

- Collaborate with the Assistant Editor to curate Enid Blyton story collections.

- Draft title information, cover text, and marketing materials as needed.

- Coordinate timelines while liaising with design and production teams.

- Supervise updates for sensitivity considerations.

- Prepare acquisition documents, including financial assessments.

- Develop cover briefs and draft contracts.

- Engage with marketing, rights, and publicity departments.
