About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Editor to join our team at Future Publishing, responsible for overseeing the content strategy and direction of our Homes & Gardens UK edition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to drive engagement and audience growth for our UK-facing content.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to create high-quality, relevant, and local content that meets the needs of our UK audience.
  • Collaborate with senior managers to boost engagement and audience size through effective content planning and execution.
  • Curate a homepage experience for UK visitors daily, ensuring a seamless and authentic experience.
  • Commission and create original content, as well as develop specific content for other platforms, including email.

Requirements:

  • Relevant website editing experience, with a proven track record of success in driving engagement and audience growth.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style requirements.
  • Understanding of and interest in the homes/interiors industry, with the ability to evidence expertise.
  • Team-oriented professional with a resourceful approach, excelling in an editorial environment.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of £29,000 - £38,000.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with three days spent in our London Paddington office and two days working from home.
