Commissioning Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Editor to join our team at Inspired Selection. As Commissioning Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing and project managing multi-component ELT projects, including course books and teacher resources for the schools market in Egypt.
Key Responsibilities- Commission and publish high-quality print, audio, and digital learning materials, working closely with the local publishing team and collaborators.
- Manage complex projects with fixed budgets and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Coordinate teams of authors, educational consultants, editors, designers, and illustrators to develop and produce educational content.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with international colleagues, clients, and officials to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Create and maintain schedules to ensure efficient project management.
- Proven experience in ELT publishing, with a strong track record of developing educational products and content.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
