We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned HR professional to take on the role of Senior HR Strategy Consultant. In this capacity, you will serve as a specialist in workforce management, delivering high-quality strategic and operational support to ensure exemplary people management practices within your designated area and throughout the broader HR function. Key Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with divisional leadership and other essential stakeholders, you will spearhead all initiatives related to workforce planning, modernization, employee engagement, motivation, and performance management.

Your role will encompass the following core functions:

Advance our workforce agenda - cultivate robust and credible relationships within the divisional leadership team to provide insights, strategies, and solutions that drive the workforce agenda forward. Strategize and implement future workforce initiatives - partner with divisional teams to design and execute frameworks that support innovative care models and operational methodologies, while leading and facilitating consultation and transformation efforts. Foster a culture of high performance - utilize workforce analytics and metrics, in collaboration with the broader HR and organizational development teams, to ensure our personnel are equipped with the necessary tools and information to promote a high-performance culture. Offer expert guidance on HR matters - provide advice on complex, sensitive, or high-stakes cases, including those related to medical staffing, where specialized HR expertise is essential.

Job Duties

Establish and maintain strong, credible relationships within the divisional/service leadership team to facilitate insights, strategies, and solutions that advance the workforce agenda.

Assist the HR function in developing policies and strategies aligned with strategic and operational business objectives, ensuring effective implementation across respective divisions. Collaborate with management teams to design and implement new organizational structures that support innovative care models and operational practices, while leading and managing consultation and transformation processes. Partner with Learning and Organizational Development to support organizational change initiatives with senior management, ensuring effective implementation in accordance with organizational policies and fostering effective communication and engagement. Analyze workforce data and productivity metrics monthly, collaborating with divisional staff to develop strategies and plans that align workforce capabilities with current and future objectives. Oversee the timely and effective management of employment relations cases, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and identifying trends to develop strategies for enhancing employee relations.

Qualifications

Required

A Master's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources. Evidence of continuous professional development, including participation in employment law updates and employee relations training.

Experience

Required

Extensive experience in a generalist HR role, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities including recruitment, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, organizational change, restructuring, redundancy, and TUPE.

Preferred

HR experience within the NHS or a comparable large public sector organization, providing transferable knowledge and skills.
