Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales strategy for Veolia UK's Agricultural Services, encompassing initiatives such as food waste management, recycled animal bedding, sustainable animal feed, low-carbon fertilizers, land restoration, and biosolids management.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and targets in collaboration with General Managers across various teams.
  • Establish consistent sales and marketing protocols to ensure a unified approach.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Corporate Development to formulate the annual budget for the team.
  • Achieve revenue and margin targets through effective management of the sales team.
  • Enhance customer retention by training the sales team and refining processes.
  • Formulate marketing strategies and budgets in partnership with General Managers.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department and other divisions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Engage actively in customer meetings to understand their needs and promote our agricultural solutions.
  • Participate in internal events to raise awareness of Veolia's agricultural offerings.
  • Support bidding efforts across various divisions.
  • Directly manage a team of 4 to 6 Sales Representatives.
  • Set performance and retention targets for your team members.
  • Oversee performance management and career development plans for direct reports.

You will report directly to the Head of Corporate Development and Agricultural Services.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Proven experience in managing a sales team is essential.
  • Experience in selling diverse services is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the grocery retail and food & beverage sectors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry is beneficial.
