About the Role

Genpact is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our agricultural sales efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the agriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Development: Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities that align with our strategic focus on the agriculture sector.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with our business units, data, technology, and AI functions, as well as our commercial and pricing teams, to craft compelling proposals that effectively communicate the value of our services to potential clients.
  • Sales Management: Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including pipeline updates, client interactions, and sales performance metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the professional services industry.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a hunting role is a must-have, preferably in the agriculture or adjacent industry.
  • Deal Closing Experience: Proven experience leading and closing end-to-end deals of $5M Total Contract Value or larger.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the professional services landscape focused on finance, accounting, supply chain, and insurance, including market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Digital Savviness: Demonstrated ability to use tech tools and be digitally savvy.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and as part of a team by promoting collaboration and building an internal network.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Relationship Building: Work with advisors and partners to cultivate channel and advisory relationships.
  • Genpact Sales Framework: Has an appetite to learn and understand Genpact's sales framework and ways of working, and a willingness to share best practices with colleagues to yield better outcomes.
