**About the Role**

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Sales Executive to join our team in the Chelmsford area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and building strong relationships with our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Follow up on in-bound leads to convert them into new booked business.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Respond to ad-hoc enquiries, including freight-related queries.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Negotiate with overseas agents and suppliers to secure new business opportunities.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in shipping and logistics.
  • Success in selling services to importers and exporters.
  • Ability to handle cold calls and build rapport with potential clients.
  • Strong analytical skills to calculate costs and quotes.
  • Familiarity with multi-freight systems.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
