Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on in-bound leads with the aim of converting them into new booked business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Respond to ad-hoc enquiries, which may involve some freight-related queries.
- Deal with both existing clients and prospects.
- Collaborate closely with the sales department to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Follow through on sales leads and negotiate with overseas agents and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the shipping industry.
- Experience selling services to importers.
- Experience handling cold calls.
- Ability to calculate costs and quotes.
- Knowledge of multi-freight systems.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and be self-sufficient.
