Job Description

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Sales Executive to join their team in the Chelmsford area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on in-bound leads with the aim of converting them into new booked business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Respond to ad-hoc enquiries, which may involve some freight-related queries.
  • Deal with both existing clients and prospects.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales department to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Follow through on sales leads and negotiate with overseas agents and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the shipping industry.
  • Experience selling services to importers.
  • Experience handling cold calls.
  • Ability to calculate costs and quotes.
  • Knowledge of multi-freight systems.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and be self-sufficient.
