Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance and Housekeeping Professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort in our residential development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping Duties: Perform daily cleaning tasks across all development areas, including block entrances, bin and cycle stores.
  • Daily Briefings: Conduct daily briefings with the line manager to address any issues and ensure effective communication.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Report maintenance concerns, including door/gate entry systems, to ensure prompt attention.
  • Deep Cleaning Tasks: Perform deep cleaning tasks to maintain the development's cleanliness and litter-free status.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various cleaning tools and equipment, such as pressure washers, to ensure efficient cleaning.
  • Contractor Monitoring: Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintenance Repairs: Perform basic maintenance repairs, painting, and decorating as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergencies, such as floods, fires, and gas leaks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including utility meter readings.

You should be an enthusiastic and friendly individual with a genuine desire to provide high-level customer service. Reasonable admin and computer skills are required to ensure records are kept up to date accurately.

Requirements:
  • Admin and Computer Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records and perform basic administrative tasks.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including deep cleaning and equipment operation.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide high-level customer service and respond effectively to resident needs.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
Working Hours and Rate:

Working hours: 21-28 hours per week. Hourly rate: £13.35-£13.50.
