We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant at a prestigious residential development in Redhill, Surrey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping Duties: Perform daily housekeeping tasks across all development areas, including block entrances, bin and cycle stores.
  • Daily Briefings: Conduct daily briefings with the line manager to address any issues and ensure effective communication.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Report maintenance concerns, including door/gate entry systems, to ensure prompt attention.
  • Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks and ensure the development remains litter-free.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various cleaning tools and equipment, such as pressure washers, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Contractor Management: Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintenance Repairs: Perform basic maintenance repairs, painting, and decorating as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergencies, such as floods, fires, and gas leaks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including utility meter readings.

You should be an enthusiastic and friendly individual with a genuine desire to provide high-level customer service. Reasonable administrative and computer skills are required to ensure records are kept up to date accurately.

Working Hours and Rate:
  • Working Hours: 21 to 28 hours per week.
  • Hourly Rate: £13.35 to £13.50 per hour.
