About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort within our residential development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping Duties: Perform daily housekeeping tasks across all development areas, including block entrances, bin and cycle stores.
  • Daily Briefings: Conduct daily briefings with the line manager to address any issues or concerns.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance concerns, including door/gate entry systems, to the line manager.
  • Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks to ensure the development remains litter-free.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various cleaning tools and equipment, such as pressure washers.
  • Contractor Management: Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Maintenance Repairs: Perform basic maintenance repairs, painting, and decorating as needed.
  • Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergencies, such as floods, fires, and gas leaks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including utility meter readings.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service and be happy to assist residents whenever needed.
  • Admin Skills: Possess reasonable admin and computer skills to ensure records are kept up to date accurately.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit to perform the duties of the role.

Working Hours: 21-28 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £13.35-£13.50
