RSM is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with a focus on Reactive Investigations. Our Consulting division integrates various teams in Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to deliver tailored solutions for our clients in the middle market.

Our Consulting team plays a crucial role in driving the firm's growth, comprising over 1,700 professionals who contribute nearly £200m in revenue. The foundation of our Consulting services is built upon six key offerings: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigative services, and restructuring.

Primary Role Objective

The primary aim of this position is to oversee reactive assignments for a varied client portfolio, with a strong emphasis on executing investigations and associated tasks. This role requires the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in teams of varying sizes based on project needs. As a client-facing position, it is essential to embody RSM's values and professionalism as a reliable fraud advisor. The ideal candidate will possess a background in criminal investigations, with a specialization in fraud and financial crime, and a genuine interest in engaging with diverse clients and projects. Key duties include delivering investigative services and supporting clients during fraud incidents while complying with applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will maintain RSM's service excellence by ensuring prompt execution of fraud investigations, preparing comprehensive case files, presenting findings in legal settings, and offering client support as necessary. A strong commercial understanding is vital for efficient and budget-conscious work delivery. Responsibilities also include setting personal objectives, developing a career advancement plan, and achieving performance benchmarks. All work must adhere to Fraud Risk Services SOPs, RSM policies, and regulatory standards.

This role entails conducting reactive investigations into fraud cases, presenting results during client engagements, and potentially leading project initiatives or team assignments. Travel to client sites is anticipated, requiring flexibility from the candidate.
