About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Crime Manager to join our team at Incubate Consulting. As a key member of our Financial Crime department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day running of our Financial Crime operations and ensuring all functional SLA's are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Fraud Programs: You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continually updating AML and anti-fraud programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and Investigate Suspicious Financial Transactions: You will monitor and investigate suspicious financial transactions and activities to identify and mitigate financial crime risk.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Financial Crime Trends: You will conduct thorough risk assessments and stay up-to-date with emerging financial crime trends to ensure our company remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work with Internal and External Stakeholders: You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide Training and Support: You will provide training to staff members on financial crime prevention policies and procedures to ensure they are equipped to identify and mitigate financial crime risk.
- Manage a Team of Financial Crime Analysts and Investigators: You will manage a team of financial crime analysts and investigators to ensure effective day-to-day running of our Financial Crime operations.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial crime prevention, AML, or fraud detection
- Leadership Experience: Direct experience of recruiting, managing, leading, and mentoring high-performing FC teams within Financial Services
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices about CIFAS audits & NCA submissions etc.
- Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g ICA) are a plus
