Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our front office team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, outlining the facilities of the hotel.
- Check in and out guests efficiently and professionally using Opera Cloud.
- Advise all departments of any special requests by guests, such as dinner reservations, ordering taxis, or room service.
- Correctly post all charges to individual guest rooms.
- Inform the Duty Manager of any guest queries, complaints, or suggestions.
- Handle safe deposit for guests, deal with foreign exchange, and manage monies at the desk.
- Oversee that all departmental floats are signed in and out correctly.
- Attend all departmental and hotel training courses and meetings as required.
- Pass over correct and detailed information to the following shift pass-over.
- Update Opera on serviced and out-of-service rooms by liaising with the Accommodation Department.
- Good knowledge of Opera PMS, ideally Opera Cloud version.
- At least 2 years of experience in a busy hotel reception.
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
