Position: Administrative Support Specialist - Housing
Salary: £13 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to join our Housing Allocations team at Opus People Solutions Ltd. This role involves providing essential support within a dynamic office environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting clients with inquiries related to the Council's housing register.
  2. Delivering administrative support for the relevant IT systems.
  3. Processing housing applications in accordance with established standards and timelines.
  4. Communicating application statuses to all housing applicants and guiding them on the bidding process.
  5. Responding to applicant inquiries regarding all aspects of the Keyways scheme through various communication channels.
  6. Ensuring accurate entry of completed housing applications into the software system, escalating any issues to the Allocations Manager as needed.

Applicants should possess experience in a customer-focused office setting and demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.

This position offers the potential for remote work following the completion of training, with opportunities for contract extension and future permanent roles.
