About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our CAMHS Team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As an integral part of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Clinical Administrators and designated Clinical/Medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the CAMHS Team, including maintaining effective office systems for the delivery and maintenance of Medical Appointments/Reviews.
  • Support with telephone calls for appointments and general enquiries, passing any queries as needed to the appropriate Clinical Administrator.
  • Telephone contact with families when required, for instance to rearrange appointments if necessary, convey messages from clinicians and liaise with other agencies.
  • Open post and scan any paperwork received, ensuring clinically urgent requests are passed to the appropriate Clinical Administrator.
  • Management of.Net inbox and support with maintaining SystmOne Rotas.
  • Adhoc support as appropriate for Medical Secretaries inbox and administrative support to the wider Team, including Reception Cover.
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade 4 & Above or Equivalent Qualification in Maths & English.
  • Any Administration Qualification.
  • Typing / Keyboard Skills or Equivalent.
Desirable Skills
  • Flexible, adaptable approach, with polite, helpful and professional manner.
  • Previous Experience of working with children/young people and their families.
  • Previous Experience Working in the NHS.
  • Previous Experience of using SystmOne.
