About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a Hospice at Home Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in providing clinical care to babies, children, and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions within their own homes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide specific, planned day-to-day care to patients according to their level of need during Hospice at Home sessions.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in palliative care and community nursing.

Requirements

  • Registered Nursing Associate with current NMC registration.
  • Post-registration experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in palliative care or community nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
