Nurse Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with complex care needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
Key Responsibilities- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, manage the care of children and young people (aged 0-25yrs) as part of our small LTV & step-down team.
- Ensure families have every opportunity to become empowered in all elements of their child or young person's care.
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of children and young people in partnership with them and their families.
- Qualified with a Nursing Associate degree qualification with 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant setting.
- Ability to deliver patient-centered care and experience of working with babies, children, and/or young people with complex care needs.
- Long-term ventilation experience is desirable, but specialist training and development opportunities will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate high standards of clinical care are essential.
- Established Training programme that will enable you to comply with NMC registration.
