About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our Hospice at Home team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical care to babies, children, and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions within their own homes.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and provide specific, planned day-to-day care to patients according to their level of need during Hospice at Home sessions.
- Work as part of a supportive team to provide 1:1 care to each patient.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in palliative care.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing Associate with current NMC registration.
- Post-registration experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with babies, children, or young adults.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
