Nurse Associate – Long-Term Respiratory Care

Position Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Nurse Associate to become part of the Long-Term Respiratory Care and Transition Team at Rainbows Hospice. This role is dedicated to delivering care for infants, children, and adolescents with intricate health requirements necessitating long-term respiratory support. The ideal candidate should possess a Nursing Associate qualification along with relevant experience in this specialized area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care of young patients within the Long-Term Ventilation and transition team.
- Support families in their caregiving roles for their child or young person.
- Engage in the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of nursing care.
Qualifications:
Must be a qualified Nurse Associate with a minimum of one year of post-registration experience. A commitment to providing patient-centered care and familiarity with complex care requirements are crucial. Experience in long-term respiratory care is preferred.
