Nurse Associate – Long Term Ventilation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care to children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Provide education and support to families to empower them in their child's care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Nursing Associate degree qualification with 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of pediatric care and long-term ventilation.
