About the Role
Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a skilled Nurse Associate to join our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the care of children and young people under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- Ensure families are empowered in all aspects of their child's care
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in partnership with families
Requirements
- Qualified Nursing Associate with 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant setting
- Ability to deliver patient-centered care and experience working with children and young people with complex needs
- Long-term ventilation experience is desirable, but specialist training and development opportunities will be provided
