We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care to children and young people with complex needs, including those requiring long-term ventilation.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Provide education and support to families to empower them in their child's care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Requirements:
- Qualified with a Nursing Associate degree qualification.
- 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant setting.
- Ability to deliver patient-centered care and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Desirable: long-term ventilation experience, although specialist training and development opportunities will be provided.
