Nurse Associate – Pediatric Long-Term Ventilation Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Band 4 Nurse Associate to become a vital member of our Long-Term Ventilation and Step-Down Team at Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People. This role is focused on delivering exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents with intricate health requirements necessitating long-term ventilation support. The ideal candidate will possess a Nursing Associate qualification along with relevant experience in this specialized area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the care of pediatric patients within the Long-Term Ventilation and step-down unit.
- Support and empower families in the care of their child or young person.
- Engage in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care strategies.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be a qualified Nurse Associate with a minimum of one year of post-registration experience. A strong ability to provide patient-centered care and familiarity with complex care needs are essential. Experience in long-term ventilation is preferred.
