Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Housing Services Coordinator for a 4-month engagement, with a strong possibility of extension based on client needs. We invite qualified candidates to submit their CVs for consideration.

Compensation: £23.57 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient collection of standard non-contentious major works, service charges, ground rent, shared ownership rent, and other income streams.
  • Adhere to local and organizational protocols for account management, ensuring timely actions are taken to recover outstanding payments.
  • Provide clear and sensitive guidance to clients regarding shared ownership rent, ground rent, major works, service charges, and reserve fund issues.
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate support for vulnerable residents, making referrals as necessary, while adopting a multi-agency approach to address safeguarding concerns.
  • Monitor and, when required, investigate the financial status of accounts to confirm accurate application of payments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Right to Buy (RTB), housing, and service charge legislation, along with the legal frameworks governing dispute resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing income accounts and debt recovery within a housing context.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and working effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in addressing customer queries and complaints in a public-facing role.

  • Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
