Role Overview

Position: Female Care Assistant – Drivers Required

Eligibility: Must reside in the UK and possess the Right to Work.

Job Details:

Annual Salary: £23,400 plus additional benefits. Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours, with a flexible shift pattern from Monday to Sunday. Shift Patterns: Early shifts from 7.00am to 3.00pm and late shifts from 2.00pm to 10.00pm. Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Driving Requirement: A valid UK Driving licence is mandatory for this position.

Who You Will Support

The dedicated team provides support to individuals in a specially designed residential facility for adults facing various disabilities, including visual impairments.

The residence is situated in a pleasant community, conveniently located near local amenities. The team is committed to delivering personalized support aimed at enhancing each individual's quality of life, fostering opportunities, and fulfilling aspirations.

Join a Progressive Team

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Promoting and supporting individual care requirements, assisting clients in acquiring new skills. Acting as an advocate for those you support, with the potential to become a keyworker after training. Collaborating with Senior Support Workers and management to conduct person-centered reviews. Maintaining accurate daily records, care plans, and health action plans. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams to assist individuals with medical appointments. Providing personal care, laundry, meal preparation, and medication management. Building meaningful relationships with those you support, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. Taking ownership of the quality of care provided to individuals. Ensuring a safe working environment while adhering to safeguarding principles. Assisting individuals in planning and achieving both short-term and long-term goals. Organizing and encouraging participation in activities, including social events and skill development. Supporting individuals in managing personal affairs and attending appointments. Collaborating with individuals, families, and advocates to ensure a respectful and equitable approach. Upholding the values of SeeAbility in all interactions.
