Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at HotelCare. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring efficient and effective management of staff and resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity, quality of service, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Head Housekeeper to manage budgets, control costs, and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
  • Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to housekeeping staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Hotel General Manager and Senior Management team in the absence of the Head Housekeeper, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company health and safety policies, reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel staff, vendors, and clients, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve housekeeping operations and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management, with a focus on operations, leadership, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide housekeeping staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to provide support with cleaning rooms.
  • Effective IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
